BBQ'ing The Pineapples
Fire up your BBQ and remove the pineapples from the juice
You can place your pineapple directly on the BBQ, use an olive oil or coconut oil spray on the grill if you wish. After a couple of minutes on one side, turn over to the other.
You will end up with gorgeous rum and caramel flavoured pineapple pieces.
Added extra's
Take the leftover juice mix and add to a saucepan
You can heat up the mixture on the hob or put the pan on the BBQ to heat up (keep the handle away from the heat)
Youo can now pour this beautiful rum mix over ice cream, add to custard or allow the liquid to cool slightly. If you plan to drink, wait for it to cool slightly; its up to you whether you down it in one or sip.
