If you're a massive garlic lover like me, then you'll love this simple garlic bread recipe! Even better, you don't have to make your own bread for this one!
Shopping List
Serves up to 8
Baguette (I prefer white or tiger) - Large (400g)
Fresh Garlic - 6 medium to large cloves (diced)
Salted Butter - 1/3 block or 83g (room temp)
Parsley - Handful finely chopped.
Garlic Powder - 1/2 tspn
Cayenne Pepper
Fry Light Spray, Olive Oil
Method
Mix the butter, garlic powder, diced garlic and parsley (leave a some to sprinkle over for garnish) together until it becomes a creamy texture.
I cut the baguette into three (fit on my oven tray better), then I sliced the bread (not all the way through) roughly around an inch each.
Spread the garlic butter mix onto each side of the slices, nice and thick
Once the bread has been filled, gently spray the top with fry light, sprinkle over some cayenne and parsley to finish.
Pop into the oven at 180°c for 10-15 minutes until the butter has melted and the bread is golden.
Tips
I am obsessed with condiments, my top favourites to go with the bread would be Hot Sauce or Balsamic Vinegar.
